Bandana Pillows

I like free things. Anything that involves upcycling, recycling, or repurposing is my friend. To take a page out of the Native American's book, I do not like to waste anything (and that is not just because I am in college, but also because I try to be eco-friendly). [Note: that is "eco" pronounced "echo"]

This past week there was a technology fair on campus and Skull Candy handed out some necklaces and bandanas. Yes, bandanas, also known as "fabric". I like fabric and usually I cannot afford it, but here it was in front of me! Fabric! And just to make my day it was fabric with cool swirly designs and skulls on them. So, what I did was fold the bandanas in towards the center, hand sew them, and then stuff them with rolled up pieces of newspaper that was just going to be recycled anyway. What's the coolest part about these pillows? They keep their shape! I am now a pillow nerd. Let the pillow making begin!
