V-Stitch Blankets

When I was in middle school I learned what the word crochet meant, but all that I learned was the single chain stitch, so this past summer I decided to learn more about crocheting and put my creative genius to the test. To learn how to crochet I, of course, went to the internets! And here is the link that I used:

I used navy blue and white yarn that was extra soft to begin my blanket. It has since been called "the baby maker" after the idea of it from Sandra Bullock and Betty White in "The Proposal." If it will actually be used as a baby maker...the world may never know. O.o

So here is a picture of the blanket (not yet finished and not yet stretched out) but hopefully before CG and I get married it'll be finished. Enjoy!
