• Cleaning Supplies

First of all, if you have never been to http://www.homemademamas.net/ then you need to go there ASAP! I found them on pinterest and they are amazing ladies to say the least. From them I learned how to make my own fabric softener, febreeze, wrinkle release spray, and bathroom disinfectant. All of the supplies included conditioner, white vinegar, water, lemon juice, and some baking soda. It's definitely worth the trip to your cupboard or local grocery store to get these supplies and they smell fabulous!

Also I just made some wood polish, multipurpose wipes, swiffer pads, and dryer sheets.

    Fabric Softener:
    - 6 cups water
    - 3 cups white vinegar
    - 2 cups hair conditioner
    1) boil water
    2) add conditioner
    3) cool solution down and mix thoroughly (til completely dissolved)
    4) add vinegar
    5) put into a large container

    Bathroom Disinfectant:
    - 1/4 cup white vinegar
    - 1/4 cup lemon juice
    - 1 cup warm water
    1) mix ingredients in a spray bottle
    2) shake before using
    3) clean your bathroom or other white surfaces

    Wrinkle Release:
    - 1/3 cup liquid fabric softener
    - 1/3 cup white vinegar
    - 1/3 cup water
    1) mix three ingredients
    2) put into a spray bottle
    3) place your wrinkled garment ona hanger, spray it thoroughly (not soaking), and give it a shake
    4) wrinkles will be gone in a matter of seconds!

    Febreeze:
    - 1 cup fabric softener
    - 1 cup white vinegar
    - 2 cups water
    1) mix ingredients, put into a spray bottle
    2) spray onto fabrics

    Wood Polish:
    - vinegar
    - olive oil
    1) mix in equal parts olive oil and vinegar
    2) dip a cloth into the polish
    3) clean wood as usual

    Multi-Purpose Wipes:
    - equal parts vinegar and water
    - lemon juice
    - strips of washcloths
    1) mix ingredients together in a container
    2) put washcloths into the container
    3) pull out cloths, squeeze out excess solution, and wipe off surfaces

    Dryer Sheets:
    - strips of wash cloths
    - medium sized plastic container with lid
    - favorite brand of liquid fabric softener
    - hot water
    1) cut strips of wash cloths
    2) place them into the plastic container
    3) mix up a solution of 4 parts liquid fabric softener and 10 parts hot water
    4) let it sit for at least 2 days
    5) when you do laundry pull out one strip, squeeze out the excess solution, and throw it in the dryer with your wet clothes like you usually would with a dryer sheet
    6) put the strips back into the container with the solution and use it again

    Swiffer Pads:
    - multi-purpose cloths
    - vinegar
    - water
    1) put the multi-purpose cloths into a container
    2) fill with half vinegar
    3) fill the other half with water
    4) mix it around, twist out excess solution, put it onto the swiffer and use

Note: the wood cleaner leaves things a bit oily, the wrinkle release spray is a MIRACLE WORKER, and the fabric softener is to die for!
